Positive News On Hayes
12th November 2007 By Munster Rugby
The news from the Munster camp today concerning the neck injury sustained by John Hayes on Saturday was positive in that there has been no dis-improvement and he is expected to take some part in training on Wednesday.
After that the situation will be re-assessed and a decision taken as to his availability or not, for Sunday’s clash with Clermont Auvergne.
Good news also about Ian Dowling who was forced to cry off the bench with a bout of illness but he has recovered and is also expected to take part in training Wednesday.
Noit so good news however for Peter Stringer’s back-up Tomas O’Leary who has come down with a bout of pneumonia and will be out of action for up to three weeks.
