Thomond Park – Important Information

FIND ALL THE INFORMATION HERE FOR MUNSTER vs ASM CLERMONT AUVERGNE, IN THOMOND PARK ON SUNDAY 18TH NOVEMBER, KO 1PM.

Gates will open at 11.30am on Sunday.

Please be advised that for the Munster Rugby Heineken Cup pool matches in Limerick there will be additional access to the ground through 4 colour coded Gates

Gate 1 (Red): North East – Access via Knockalisheen road and Kileely road

Gate 2 (Green): South East – Access via Cratloe Road only

Gate 3 (Blue): South West / Shannon – Access via Cratloe road only

Gate 4 (no Colour): North West – Access via LIT (hospitality & guests only)

Ticket Admission

Admittance will only be permitted through specific gates, as detailed on the tickets & Colour coded, ticket holders will not be able to enter through other gates. It is also advised that you arrive in good time in order to access your viewing position.

Within the Ground

There will not be any free movement between terraces or areas outside the stadium and stewards will be on hand to direct patrons to the area / terrace as stated on their ticket – please adhere to stewards instructions.

Please note that there will be no food & beverage facilities within the stadium, with toilet facilities available behind the East & West Terraces and below the South Terrace.

What’s On

Flags will be distributed within the grounds on match day, please take a flag and show your support for the game. 

Face Painters will be on hand also, inside the gate entrances, show your support by wearing the Munster Colours!

Enjoy Thomond Park favourite, Cara O’ Sullivan, as she warms up the crowd before the game.

Keep an eye out for the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Guard of Honour who will welcome the teams onto the pitch.

Despite picking up a hamstring injury at the last game, Murty has been cleared for this Sunday’s match, so watch out for him as he warms up pitch-side!

Half-time Entertainment includes the Toyota Charity Catch Competition, sponsored by Toyota in aid of the Irish Guidedogs for the Blind.

Once again, please note, there will be no food and beverage facilities within the stadium.

Raffle tickets are being sold before the game inside the ground by designated sellers.

Three entries cost just €5

All proceeds will go towards the development of Women’s Rugby in the province.

Munster’s Play To Win

This weeks prize includes 2 Match Tickets and Pre/Post Reception for Munster v Leinster on November 30th.

Look out for the “Play To Win” Girls selling the “Munster’s Play To Win” Cards inside the grounds.
