Gates will open at 11.30am on Sunday.
Please be advised that for the Munster Rugby Heineken Cup pool matches in Limerick there will be additional access to the ground through 4 colour coded Gates.
Gate 1 (Red): North East – Access via Knockalisheen road and Kileely road
Gate 2 (Green): South East – Access via Cratloe Road only
Gate 3 (Blue): South West / Shannon – Access via Cratloe road only
Gate 4 (Yellow): North West – Access via LIT
Ticket Admission
Admittance will only be permitted through specific gates, as detailed on the tickets & Colour coded, ticket holders will not be able to enter through other gates. It is also advised that you arrive in good time in order to access your viewing position.
Importance notice for holders of West Terrace & West Uncovered seating Tickets, these two areas are divided into 6 sections with 9 entrances. Once in the stadium you will only be permitted to enter your areas of this terrace or your seat in the stand, as per the entrance on your ticket – please refer to the information on your ticket (directly over price details).
Within the Ground
There will not be any free movement between terraces or areas outside the stadium and stewards will be on hand to direct patrons to the area / terrace as stated on their ticket – please adhere to stewards instructions.
Please note that there will be no food & beverage facilities within the stadium, with toilet facilities available behind the East & West Terraces and below the South Terrace.
Outside the Ground
Munster Rugby and Limerick City Council requests that motorists travelling to attend this match, park their vehicles legally and in a manner that is considerate of local residents and road safety – parking restrictions will be in place and action will be taken if cars are parked illegally.
What’s On
Thousands of flags will be distributed within the grounds on match day free of charge, so please take a flag and show your support for the Munster team.
We are delighted to welcome the internationally renowned Celtic Tenors to Thomond Park to entertain the supporters before the game.
Keep an eye out for the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Guard of Honour who will welcome the teams onto the pitch.
Murty returns once again to meet the fans and show his support for the Munster team in his own unique way.
At half-time watch out for the Toyota Charity Catch for Cash Competition. Three volunteers will attempt to catch high balls on the pitch, with each successful catch worth €500 to the Mid Western Cancer Centre which is based in Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick. The Charity Catch for Cash Competition is kindly sponsored by Toyota.
Once again, please note, there will be no food and beverage facilities within the stadium. Application forms for the Munster Walk will also be distributed inside the ground. Make your mark on the New Limerick Rugby Stadium by buying a brick which will become part of the new walkway in front of the East Stand.
Munster’s Play To Win
This week’s prize will give a supporter the chance to attend a private Munster training session, along with lunch and merchandise. A chance to meet your heros! Look out for the “Play To Win” Girls selling the “Munster’s Play To Win” Cards inside the grounds. Draw date: 18.12.07
