Munster Lead at Half-Time in Musgrave Park

Tries from Tony Buckley and Mick O’Driscoll, both converted by Ronan O’Gara have Munster leading Ulster 14-6 after an entertaining and lively opening half at a packed Musgrave Park.
Munster’s opening score came in the 8th minute when Buckley scored from close in. Niall O’Connor then opened Ulster’s account with a penalty before O’Driscoll extended his side’s lead with a well worked try in the 34th minute.
In injury time O’Connor added a second penalty.
