17th April 2008 By Munster Rugby
Although there is no place for Ronan O’Gara in the Munster squad for Saturday’s Magners League clash with Ospreys (Musgrave Park 7.30pm), the out-half is reported to be making ‘good progress’ in his recovery from the knee injury he sustained against Leinster.
O’Gara limped of at half time in the RDS but according to Declan Kidney, “this game (v Ospreys) has come too soon for him to be considered but he is making good progress and at this stage we haven’t ruled him out of consideration for the game against Saracens.
Peter Stringer has been included in the squad for Saturday as have the two players who missed out on the Leinster game, Marcus Horan and David Wallace while there is also a return to the Munster squad for John O’Sullivan, Anthony Horgan, Barry Murphy and Keith Earls.
Kidney will announce his side tomorow at lunchtime.
