Golf at Fota Island with Munster Rugby

This year’s Munster Rugby Golf Classic will take place on Monday September 1st next at the renowned Fota Island Golf & Spa Resort in Cork.

This is the 9th year of the Munster Rugby Golf Classic which has become one of the highlights of the Munster Rugby calendar, proving hugely popular with Munster Rugby supporters around the country. 

Participants will have the opportunity to view the 2008 Heineken Cup, which will be on display on the day.

Bookings for the one day event are now being taken, with teams of three costing €575 for tee times before 11am and €650 for tee times after 11am. 

Morning golf will be followed by lunch, while afternoon golf will be followed by dinner in the clubhouse that evening to coincide with the prize presentations.

The entry fee includes automatic entry in a draw for a golfing holiday for two to Spain from 5th-12th October for the Munster Sports Travel Rugby Hall of Fame Golf Week.  This years Hall of Fame golf trip goes to the Islantilla Golf resort which is situated 1 hour from Faro Airport just inside the Spanish Border. Flights from Cork, Belfast and Dublin with Aer Lingus, 3 rounds of Golf ( 2 at Islantilla and 1 at Costa Esuri Golf, Half Board Welcome drinks and all transfers.

Each golfing participant will also receive a gift bag on the day. 

Interested parties are advised to book as soon as possible to guarantee your place.  Tee times can only be confirmed on receipt of full payment.
