Tipoki Out Till New Year.

Tipoki Out Till New Year.

Munster management today confirmed that a medial ligament injury sustained in the game last week against the All Blacks rules Rua Tipoki out of action until the New Year.

And later this afternoon Jerry Flannery will have a scan on his knee injury, suffered in the game on Saturday against Argentina.

Good news however is that Frank Sheahan and Denis Leamy, both of whom were forced to leave the field against the All Blacks in Thomond Park last week are expected to train in Limerick tomorrow while David Wallace is expected to do some light training later in the week.

Denis Hurley (knee) and his namesake Darragh (disc) are not expected to resume training for 2/3 weeks while the Magners League game against Connacht is seen as the likely debut for New Zealand flanker Nick Williams.

Further good news for Munster is that Duncan Williams came through the forty minutes he played with Cork Constitution yesterday unscathed.
