Christmas Cheer for Clermont Crunch

Pull out the Santa hats, it’s that time of year again, as the festive fourth round of the Heineken Cup approaches with Munster v Clermont Auvergne in Thomond Park this Saturday, ko 3.30pm.

Calling all support….. Let’s keep the momentum going! The Munster New Zealand clash showed just how much the sixteenth man drives on the squad, so we ask you more than ever to get behind the team this Saturday afternoon in Thomond Park when it’s do or die in the Heineken Cup.

Stand up and fight from the terraces and stands, and show Clermont what Munster Rugby supporters are renowned for…. passionate support for the men in red!  Over 5000 Munster Flags and Christmas hats will be given out to supporters around the stadium so be on the lookout.

Get their early….. Munster Rugby are offering plenty of reasons to soak up the match day atmosphere so make sure to get there well in advance.

By getting there early you could be in with a chance to Win Tickets to future events in Thomond Park such as Munster games against Sale, Ulster, Leinster, Connacht and Ospreys and headline concerts with Rod Stewart and Elton John.

How do you win these great prizes?  It’s easy, get inside the grounds by 2.45pm.  All tickets that are scanned with the Ticket Scan entry system before 2.45pm will be recorded, and winners will be randomly selected from all entrants up to this time of entry.  Prize winners will be announced over the PA system in advance of the game.*

Check out the Munster Rugby Museum open from 10am – 3pm on Saturday, with interactive displays and plenty to see as you follow the chartered success of Munster Rugby over the years – an experience not to be missed.  Admission is €5 and entry is via the left hand side of the main Thomond Park reception in the East Stand.

Spin FM will be on site providing entertainment from 1.30pm in the Dugout of the East Stand.  All televisions around the stadium will be showing the Biarritz v Cardiff Blues game (starts at 1.35pm) and there will be promotional activities on the day in the various food and bar outlets in advance of kick off.

Twelve drummers drumming….. Pre Match entertainment will start out on the pitch at 2.45pm featuring Limerick Tenor Derek Moloney, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir, Murty and the ever popular Arcana.

Get to the stadium in plenty of time to enjoy the Thomond Park experience and as ever please show your support in true Munster style!
