Munster – 07/08 Team of the Year

Last night Munster players and officials were in the O’Reilly Hall in UCD to pick up the award as the 2007/2008 season Team of the Year.

Mick O’Driscoll, captain on the night against the All Blacks, try scorer from the Heineken Cup final Denis Leamy and the pair that lifted the trophy that famous day in Cardiff, captain Paul O’Connell and vice-captain Ronan O’Gara were on the podium once again to receive their award from Sports Council boss John Treacy.

Also attending on behalf of Munster were Chief Executive Garrett Fitzgerald, Munster Branch President Nick Comyn, Provincial Team Management Chairman Martin O’Sullivan, Media Manager Pat Geraghty and guests Ian Corbett (Toyota Ireland) and Paul Moloney (adidas).
