Munster Lose in Galway

2008 ended on a low note for Munster when they were beaten 12-6 by Connacht in the Magners League clash at the Sportsground.

They trailed 6-3 at half time at the end of which they had been reduced to 14 when Niall Ronan was yellow carded – Doug Howlett suffered a similar fate in the second  –  and although Paul Warwick drew them level at the start of the second half they failed to register another score while Ian Keatley kicked two further penalties to secure a well deserved victory
