Buckley In Munster A Side For Trip To Belfast

Prop Tony Buckley returns to Munster action for the first time in six weeks having been named in the Munster A side that plays Ulster A in Ravenhill on Friday (4pm) .
Buckley’s last outing was for the senior side was against Connacht in the Magners League defeat at the Sportsground at the end of December with illness costing him his place in the squad and possible inclusion in the RBS Six Nations squad.
And while Munster rely by and large on Academy and Development players plus those such as Buckley and Darragh Hurley who are returning from injury, Ulster include 11 of the squad that played Stade Francais in the final round of the Heineken Cup, Friday’s side captained by David Pollock who also led the senior side that day in Stade Jean Bouin.
Munster A: Denis Hurley; Brian Carney, Tom Gleeson, Kieran Lewis, Ciaran O’Boyle; Mike Prendergast, Conan Doyle; Darragh Hurley, Denis Fogarty, Tony Buckley; Ian Nagle, Dave Foley; Billy Holland, Tommy O’Donnell, Nick Williams. Replacements: Dave Ryan/Timmy Ryan, Michael Essex, John O’Sullivan, Niall Ronan, Duncan Williams, Scott Deasy, Evan Ryan.
