Cork Sides Come Together

This Saturday will see two Girl’s Underage Rugby Clubs from Cork joining together to play an U-18 Girls touring team from Ottawa, Canada in what will be an exciting game for all involved.

Crosshaven RFC and Fermoy RFC play in the Munster Rugby U-18 League, however, due to player numbers many of the matches played this season have been in the seven or ten a-side format.

This game will give the girls a great opportunity to experience 15-a-side rugby and also to play a touring side for the first time.

The team which will be called “Ferhaven Corkonians” for the day will play Ashbury College ,Ottawa, in Fermoy RFC on Saturday with a 2pm kick off.
