Carney Set for Warrington Wolves.

Brian Carney is set to return to his rugby league playing days as he has agreed terms with the super league side Warrington Wolves.

Carney who has just completed his Munster Rugby contract was free to join Warrington and looks forward to contributing to the second half of the club’s Super League campaign over the summer months.

Wolves Head of Coaching and Rugby Tony Smith is looking forward to working with Brian, “I am really excited by the prospect of getting to work with Brian. He’s a championship player and his experience and know how will be a real asset to the squad.”

Brian Carney who is pleased to be joining Wolves and thankful of his time in Munster, commented, “I’m really looking forward to a new challenge with Warrington Wolves and am equally looking forward to working with the squad and Tony Smith and hope that I can add something to their game. I’d also like to thank the players and everyone involved in Munster for their time and efforts, I enjoyed my time there.”
