In Pics: Munster v Sale Sharks
17th August 2009 By Munster Rugby
Munster took to the pitch in Musgrave Park in the all red kit for the first time on Friday night as they defeated the Sale Sharks 19-17.
From a squad of 26 players, nine of the starting XV made their Munster debuts, as did a further ten from the extended replacements.
It was certainly a night to remember for sub academy player and recent school leaver Brian Hayes, who just received his leaving cert. results from CBC Cork, as he made his inaugral senior rugby appearance in a Munster jersey. All he has to do now is decide on a senior club for next year!
