Q&A with Munster Rugby Junior Supporters

Q&A with Munster Rugby Junior Supporters

Munster Rugby Junior Supporters came out in force to support the Munster Rugby Squad in their Open Training session, held at Musgrave Park on Thursday 29th October.

The training session was followed by free entry to a special event for Junior Members as they took the opportunity to question their favourite Munster Players, Paul O Connell, Jerry Flannery and Jean De Villiers.

All junior members were given a numbers of gifts, including a fruit drink, a car sticker and a Ballygowen FM Radio.

Paul O’Connell was asked by one junior member, “Who put the fear of God in you?” His reply was simple and said with no hesitation, “My Mammy!”

Jean de Villiers was invited for dinner in a fellow South Africans home and said he would be delighted to pop in after training some evening!

Jerry Flannery sang “Happy Birthday” to one Junior Member who turns 10 tomorrow.

Once all the questions were answered, all the Junior Members and their parents got an opportunity to get autographs and photographs taken with their Munster heros!

In addition to supporting the team and being invited to special events, new members also receive other benefits which are listed here.

To become a Junior member simply log onto www.munsterrugbysupporters.com and follow the link.

The closing date for all applications is tomorrow SATURDAY 31st OCTOBER 2009 at 12 midnight.

Junior Membership for 2010 costs only €25 plus transaction fee.
Junior membership is open to those up to the age of 16.
