Travelling to Thomond – Munster v Perpignan

If looking to avoid any issues with traffic and parking this Friday Munster Supporters can avail of a special train that will depart from Limerick after the game.

Travel By Train

Iarnród Éireann will be operating a special train back from Limerick after the Munster v Perpignan game departing Limerick Station at 23.15hrs – which will serve Charleville (23.59hrs), Mallow (00.16hrs) and is scheduled to arrive in Cork at 00.50hrs

Munster Rugby fans will be able to travel on any of the regular scheduled trains from Cork, Mallow or Charleville to Limerick on the day.

With the new InterCity Timetable, introduced at the end of November, there will be a train every hour from Cork to Limerick on Friday, 11th December (changing at Limerick Junction) – fans can therefore choose the train they wish to travel on.

The special train returning from Limerick at 23.15hrs will be direct to Cork (no change at Limerick Junction) – serving Charleville (23.59hrs), Mallow (00.16hrs) and arriving in Cork at 00.50hrs.

Reservations are essential for the outward and return legs of this journey and Munster Rugby fans can purchase their rail ticket on-line at Iarnród Éireann or by phoning 1-850-TRAINS (the new information & telesales number).
