16th December 2009 By Munster Rugby

In early December fourth, fifth and sixth year students from St. Endas Community School, St. Nessans Community College and CBS Sexton Street took part in a Munster Rugby Sevens Blitz at St Enda’s C.S., Killmallock Road, Limerick, with each team playing two matches overall.
A great day was enjoyed by all participants with this form of the game proving to become very popular. Following Rugby Sevens recent acceptance as an Olympic sport for Rio de Janeiro 2016 it is expected to continue to thrive within the province.
