No Joy For Ireland In Paris

Ireland’s dreams of back-to back Grand Slams ended in Paris today when they were beaten 33-10 by a superb French side.
Ireland trailed 17-3 at half time after tries from William Servat (27th min) and Yannick Jauzion (30th min) while Ronan O’Gara kicked a 28th minute penalty.
Clement Poitrenaud scored France’s third try in the 58th minute, Morgan Parra dropped a goal three minutes later. David Wallace’s scored a 63rd minute try but replacement Federic Michalack ended the scoring with another drop goal.
