Trio Set For Lengthy Spell On The Sidelines.

The three players, Felix Jones, Ian Dowling and Denis Fogarty, withdrawn during the course of Saturday night’s win over the Ospreys, all look set for lenghty recovery spells.

Initial tests have shown that Jones suffered cruciate ligament damage to his left knee while the full extent of the damage Dowling sustained to his right hip has yet to be fully determined.  Both will seek further specialist advice but initial indications are that they face lengthy period of rehab.

Hooker Denis Fogarty underwent a shoulder operation this morning in a Dublin clinic and he will be out of action until after Christmas.
