Earls Named in Munster Squad

On a day when the news of Moss Keane’s sad passing brought a sombre mood to the Munster camp, Keith Earls was named in the Munster squad for the trip to London and the clash with Premiershp leaders London Irish.

While Earls was training with his teamamtes, Lifeimi Mafi was on his way to Belfast in the company of team manager Shaun Payne to face a disciplinary committee following a citing for an incident in last Saturday's game in Dublin

Optimism that Mafi will escape sanction was low in Munster circles and Earls' return to contention is therefore exremely opprtune. He took a full part in the session in UL and showed no ill effects afterwards.

The side to face London Irish will be announced on Friday.
