British & Irish Cup Side Named

Munster British & Irish Cup coach Anthony Foley has named his side for the opening match against Llanelli at the Waterford Regional Ground on Friday night (7.30pm)

And with the game against Toulon the following day, it includes an AN Other in the backline as Munster look to their options for both games.

Otherwise, Foley can call on five of the pack that started  in the British & Irish Cup final last year while there is a return to action for Declan Cusack who makes his seasonal debut at out-half alongside Conor Murray.

Llanelli warmed up for this clash with a 23-13 away win over Glammorgan Wanderers last Sunday despite the loss of wing Ryan Baylis who was yellow carded for a high tackle. Llanelli currently lie in 5th position in the Welsh Premiership table, a point ahead of Neath who Munster played last year and nine point adrift of leaders Pontypridd who have the same points total as Swansea.

Munster: Sean Scanlon; AN Other, Ivan Dineen, Troy Smith, Simon Zebo; Declan Cusack, Conor Murray; Dave Ryan, Sean Henry, Darragh Hurley; Dave Foley capt, Ian Nagle; Billy Holland, Tommy O'Donnell, Peter O'Mahony. Replacements: Mike Sherry, Stephen Archer, Dave O'Callaghan, Paddy Butler, Paul Rowley, Gareth Quinn McDonagh, AN Other.
