Ronan O’Gara and Peter Stringer who almost saved Ireland’s bacon although introduced very late last Saturday, are in the Irish side from the off for the game against Samoa.

John Hayes and Denis Leamy are also recalled but coach Declan Kidney will wait until later in the week before naming a replacement bench that will surely include Keith Earls who might have expected a run from the start against the Samoans.
