Match Day Information – Heineken Cup Munster v Ospreys

Calling all supporters to deck the stands in red and give it holly this Sunday in Thomond Park when Munster take on Ospreys in the third round of the Heineken Cup.

Heineken Cup Round 3 – Munster v Ospreys, Sunday 12th December, ko 1pm.

Please note this game is sold out. Gates open at 11am, two hours before kick- off.

Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – T12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket.

Travel
Please try to arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel – Service starting @ 10am
Raheen Ryans Centra – Service starting @ 10.45am
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Rd – Service starting @ 11am
City East Plaza – Service starting @ 12pm
Maldron Hotel – Service starting @ 12pm

The Bus Eireann Shuttle Bus Service from outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry St. starts at 11am.

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium but parking is available at all city centre car parks.

Important Train Service Disruptions – Iarnrod Eireann have advised it will not be possible to travel from Cork to Limerick via train this weekend.  This is due to Engineering Works taking place and Limerick Junction will be closed for train operations from 20.30hrs on Friday, 10th December, all day Saturday, 11th December and all day Sunday, 12th December 2010. More information at http://www.irishrail.ie/

Bus options for the game on Sunday are as follows:

Bus Eireann: Cork – Charleville – Limerick, a bus every hour (25mins past the hour): €;24:50 return.
Joe Lawlor Coaches: This is a private bus service and the coach will depart from Patrick's Quay, (behind the Metropole Hotel), at 09:30am on Sunday morning and arrive in Limerick at 11.30am. The coach will then depart Thomond Park at 5:30pm and arrive back in Cork at 7:30pm.  To book a seat on the bus you can call (061)390080 or (086)2457537. Alternatively you can email info@joelawlor.com by 5pm this Friday. Seats are available to MRSC members at a special price of €;15 return. Non members can book a seat for €20 return.

Pre-Match
The Dug-Out bar is open from 11am for breakfast with live entertainment and competitions to win match tickets and signed merchandise. There are numerous bars and catering facilities in Thomond Park and all open at 11am.

Please be in your seats/terrace at least 20 minutes before kick-off.

On the pitch entertainment starts at 12pm with music from soprano Cara O'Sullivan, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club choir and Arcana.

Deck the stands in RED. Get into the festive cheer and bring along your Santa hats from last week and your Munster flags, also keep an eye out for the Tattoo Crew who will be handing out Munster temporary tattoos.

At half-time there is a special guest performance by electric fiddle player Daithi O'Dronai who shot to fame on Sky One's “Must Be The Music” and RTE's “The All Ireland Talent Show”.

Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;5.

Stadium Information
Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests
