Fans Show Support at Open Training
7th January 2011 By Munster Rugby
With over five hundred supporters in attendance in Thomond Park yesterday watching the squad training session, players were more than happy to remain on afterwards to sign autographs and pose for photographs.
Missing from the training session was Tony Buckley who is suffering from a virus and is almost certain to miss out on the game against Glasgow Warriors this weekend.
Other than that the side when selected (announced today at midday) is likely to be along the lines of the side that will take on Toulon in Stade Mayol Sunday week.
On a positive note, Marcus Horan, recovering from a broken thumb, took part in yesterday’s session although without indulging in the contact element, but that aspect may be on the agenda next week.

Thanks to all who made it out to Thomond Park, as always the support is much appreciated.
