Nottingham Next in the British and Irish Cup
10th January 2011 By Munster Rugby
Munster are away to Nottingham in their next pool game of the British and Irish Cup and travel to the Meadow Lane venue this Friday for a 7.45pm kick off.
The Nottingham club have only had one outing in the B&I Cup this season, defeating Bristol 37-23 and are just a point behind Munster on the table.
Munster opened with a home defeat to Llanelli in Waterford but bounced back with a comprehensive 47-14 win away to Melrose, before their last outing against Bristol was postponed in December.
Nottingham Director of Rugby Glenn Delaney is expecting a strong local presence at Friday night's game “We've already had a staggering reaction to this match. Munster are one of the biggest names in rugby, having them play here at Meadow Lane will certainly be a brilliant game for fans and we're hopeful of getting a very good crowd in to witness the action.”
