Munster Settled In
26th February 2011 By Munster Rugby
Munster landed in Milan today after an uneventful flight from Dublin Airport and after a two hour journey arrived at the Hotel Parma & Congressi on the Via Emilia Ovest just outside Parma.
After checking in and a light meal they took themselves off to the nearby Centro Sportivo for their normal light training run and after that it was back to the Hotel to settle in to watch the England versus France RBS Six Nations game from Twickenham.
The news they didn't want to hear was the British & Irish Cup result from Melrose where Bristol's 28-26 vicory ended their interest in the compeition on a day when Cornish Pirates who beat Munster in last year's final also exited the competition when they lost to Worcester Warriors at Sixways.
Their day will begin tomorrow for the Munster squad with breakfast at 8am and the normal pre match routines before leaving for the Stadio Zaffanella at 12 noon (local time) for the 2pm kick off.
