Brive centre Fabrice Estebanez insists his side’s discipline must be spot on against what he terms, "one of the greatest clubs in Europe."

Estebanez, who won his fourth cap as a replacement for France in last month's RBS 6 Nations clash with Wales at Stade de France last month, points to the danger posed by 'world class goal kicker' Ronan O'Gara and says to beat Munster, Brive must, "simply play a perfect game."

"We will have to be aggressive, because we will have very strong players in front of us, and we won't be able to afford mistakes."

Nevertheless, Estebanez finds it difficult to hide his excitement at the prospect of mixing with the two time Heineken champions, " We are super excited to take part in an Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final against Munster and we can't wait to face them.Taking the game lightly is out of the question. We won't be spectators of our own game and, on the contrary, we will take our chances."

Brive have their own proud record in European fare having won the Heineken Cup when they beat Leicester Tigers 28-9 at Cardiff Arms Park and the following year were unlucky to lose by a single point (19-18) to Bath in Bordeaux's Stade Lescure.

They haven't competed in the Heineken since but their Amlin record is impressive, they've made the knock-out stages for the past six successive years, and with the carrot of a home semi – and now free of relegation worry – they see this as a golden opportunity.

"We always have the ambition to return to the Heineken Cup and winning the Amlin Challenge Cup would open that door for us."

"That would be the best reward to finish our season – what a gift for the players and the club!"
