Match Day Information – Munster v Harlequins

Please find match day information for the Amlin Challenge Cup semi final between Munster and Harlequin’s here. Please note tickets are still available for this game.

Amlin Challenge Cup Semi Final – Munster Rugby v Harlequins
Saturday 30th April, Thomond Park, ko 1pm with gates opening at 11am.

Tickets – There are tickets still available for this game.

Tickets can be purchased online here, from the Thomond Park Stadium ticket office, the Munster Rugby office Tramore Road in Cork, the Munster Rugby Stores in O'Connell St Limerick and Maylor St. Cork, from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, and via the ticketmaster hotline 0818 719 300.

Tickets for the game will be available to purchase at Thomond Park Stadium on Saturday from the Ticketmaster van by Hassett’s Cross.

Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – T12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket.

Travel

Please arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, from 11am
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road, from 11am
Raheen Ryan’s Centra, from 10.30am
City East Plaza, from 12 noon
Maldron Hotel, from 12 noon

There is a public bus service operating directly from Limerick city centre to Thomond Park Stadium from 11am. Pick up is from outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry St.

Pre-book your parking online for Q-Park Harvey’s Quay to guarantee a space on match days and to avail of reduced parking charges. There are three options – all day parking €;8, afternoon parking for €;5, or evening/overnight for only €;3. Customers can book online, and pay with Visa, Visa Debit or MasterCard at www.q-park.ie or www.thomondpark.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of the Thomond Park Stadium. Parking is available at all city centre car parks.

Pre-Match

The Dug-Out bar in the East Stand is open from 11am for breakfast with live entertainment and competitions in place to signed merchandise.

On the pitch entertainment starts one hour before kickoff featuring Soprano Cara O’Sullivan, Liam O’Connor, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir and Arcana.

Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;5.

Stadium Information

There are numerous bars and catering facilities within Thomond Park – All open 2 hours before kick-off.
Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of ant soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Weather Forecast – Met Eireann

Mainly dry for Saturday with sunny intervals but showers will occur also, chiefly in the southern half of the province.  Winds light to moderate, northeast to east, freshening near the coast. Highest temperatures 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.
