Train Services For Munster’s Semi Final

Trains are available from Cork to Limerick (change at Limerick Junction) on Saturday, 14th May 2011 for the Magner’s League semi final between Munster and Ospreys at Thomond Park Stadium, ko 6.30pm.

Munster Rugby fans can choose to travel to Limerick on any train from Kent Station, Cork, which operates every hour on the half hour from Cork to Limerick Junction and change at Limerick Junction for Limerick City.  Supporters can also travel from Mallow and Charleville.

Iarnrod Eireann has put on an extra train after the game from Colbert Station, Limerick at 22.15hrs to Limerick Junction (arr. 22.43hrs), which links into the 21.00hrs Dublin-Cork train at Limerick Junction at 22.50hrs.

This train will serve Charleville (23.11hrs), Mallow (23.26hrs) and Cork – scheduled to arrive in Cork at 23.55hrs.

Iarnrod Eireann is asking all intending passengers to purchase their rail tickets or reserve their seats on-line at www.irishrail.ie or through Iarnród Éireann’s Telesales number which is (021) 455-7185.

Priority will be given to customers who have booked their rail tickets on-line or through the telesales number.
