It’s An All Black France RWC Final
16th October 2011 By Munster Rugby
The All Blacks will play France in the RWC final following their fully deserved 20-6 win over Australia in Eden Park today.
They totally dominated the opening half, had their try from Ma'a Nonu and although Australia threatened on a few occasions, the Blacks never remotely looked like losing this one.
They Blacks led 14-6 at half time thanks to that 6th minute Nonu try created by Israel Dagg, two Pri Weepu penalties and a drop-goal from Aaron Cruden, and it ended appropriately from a New Zealand point of view with Quade Cooper being driven into touch inside his own 22 by Richard Kahui.
Weepu extended the All Blacks lead with an early second half penalty and added a second when he returned to the field, having been replaced by Andy Ellis who was forced to retire with blood streaming from his nose.
