Ulster Run Away With It In The Second Half
30th December 2011 By Munster Rugby
An error strewn second half contributed to Munster’s 33-17 defeat in the RaboDirect PRO12 game at a full house in Ravenhill.
Ulster to their credit played all the football in that second half and were full value for their bonus point victory.
Perhaps the crucial period came in the 33rd minute when Ian Keatley saw his penalty from in front of the posts go right and wide. That kick could have levelled the scores 13-13 and from the restart brilliant Ulster handling ended with a try for John Afoa that Ian Humphreys converted for a ten point lead.
Munster's try in that half came from Luke O'Dea in the 14th minute. They'd lost Tom Gleeson and Tommy O'Donnel through injury in that period
