Treviso Travel Strong

Benetton Treviso have set out their stall in the clearest of fashions as they arrive in Limerick today for the RaboDirect PRO12 clash with Munster at Thomond Park Stadium (8.15pm).

Coach Franco Smith has made just one change to his starting XV from last weekend, with Manoa Vosawai replacing the injured Robert Barbieri at number 8.

Smith's side ran in four tries in their 37-14 home win last weekend over Aironi who a week earlier had triumphed 27-13.

They've already enjoyed success here in Ireland with wins in Galway and Belfast as well as taking the spoils against Glasgow Warriors in Firhill and on that evidence alone will present Munster with a stiff challenge.

"I think we're aware that with the likes of Pavanello, Van Zyl, Sbaraglini, they'll bring a huge physicality to this game, Alessandro Zanni is another, good ball player " says Damien Varley, "but there's much more to them than that. They've scored 22 tries so far and are really breathing down our necks in the table. They're an experienced side who'll have the confidence of those wins here already and like any side that has ambitions they have a really good place kicker in Kristopher Burton who'll take advantage if we present him with the opportunities.

"So yes," he concludes, "it's going to be a helluva test."

Treviso: Luke McLean, Ludovico Nitoglia, Tommaso Benvenuti, Alberto Sgarbi, Brendan Williams; Kristopher Burton, Tobias Botes; Michele Rizzo, Franco Sbaraglini, Lorenzo Cittadini; Antonio Pavanello (captain), Corniel Van Zyl; Gonzalo Padrò, Alessandro Zanni, Manoa Vosawai. Replacements: Diego Vidal, Matteo Muccignat, Ignacio Fernandez Rouyet, Valerio Bernabò, Enrico Pavanello, Simon Picone, Edoardo Gori, Alberto Di Bernardo
