Munster Continue On Their Winning Way

Munster maintained their progress in the RaboDirect PRO12 with a workmanlike 19-6 win over Benetton Treviso in front of a 10,261 audience at Thomond Park Stadium.

Munster led 16-3 at half time thanks principally to a brilliant Doug Howlett try created by Dave O'Callaghan and converted by Ian Keatley.

And although they only added one penalty to their tally in the second half they did create a plethora of chances and had some of their passes stuck the margin of victory would have better reflected their dominance.

And as they had done the weekend prior, when questions were asked of their defence in the closing ten minutes, they were answered unequivocally.
