O’Mahony and Ryan Back In The Swing

Internationals, lock Donnacha Ryan and back row Peter O’Mahony are back in full training and expected to be in consideration if not for the Ospreys game then the trip to Dublin and the clash with Leinster on October 6th.

O'Mahony's return is particularly opportune as James Coughlan, who suffered a groin tear against Ulster will be out of action for several weeks.

Better news though for Luke O'Dea who suffered an ankle sprain in that game is that he'll be back in action in a couple of weeks while Sean Scanlon (lower back) having seen a specialist to determine the exact extent of his injury is being monitored by Munster's medical team.

There's also a planned visit to a specialist for Troy Smith who injured a knee in training earlier in the week but Johne Murphy (knee) is due back jogging next week and Paul O'Connell edges closer to a return having shown no ill effects of his rehab track training this week.

Ian Nagle (shoulder) is another who could be back in action early next month.
