Ticket and Match Day Info For Munster v Newport Gwent Dragons

Tickets are available for this game and will be on sale on Saturday from the mobile ticket unit at Hassett’s Cross from 10am until kick off and from the West Stand Ticket booth from 6pm.

RaboDirect PRO12 Round 4 Munster v Newport Gwent Dragons, Thomond Park, Saturday 22nd September, ko 8pm.

Gates will open at 6pm.

There will be a minute silence before kick-off and players will wear black armbands in memory of Nevin Spence, his brother Graham and father Noel who tragically lost their lives last Saturday.

Munster supporters have also committed to giving their own rendition of “Stand Up For the Ulstermen” after the minute silence on Saturday in tribute to the Spence Family.

Books of Condolences will be available at the Munster Rugby Supporters Club bar (West Stand) and the Munster Rugby Store in the East Stand for those who wish to send their condolences.

Tickets

Tickets are available to buy online here, from the Munster Rugby ticket offices in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park, the Munster Rugby Stores, and by calling 021-4315767 or 061-421103.

The mobile ticket unit at Hassett’s Cross will be open on Saturday from 10am to kick off.

There will be an East Stand ticket collection point next to the mobile ticket unit for all General ticket collections.

The West Stand ticket booth will also be open on match day from 6pm. Supporters Club ticket collections will take place from the West Stand ticket booth.

Kids go free with the Family Terrace pack – 2 Adults and 2 *Juniors for €;40

Cat A – €;40
Cat B – €;30
Terrace – €;20

*Junior Stand – €;10
*Junior Terrace – €;7

*Junior tickets are for U16s

Travel

Road-work Update for the N22 Cork-Limerick road: Road-works will not take place on Saturday and there are no traffic stoppages planned. However, the climbing lane approaching Rathduff from the Cork City side will be closed, and a speed limit of 60kmph will remain in place so motorists may experience delays.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel starting from 5pm
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road starting from 5.30pm
South Court Hotel, Raheen starting from 6pm
Woodlands Hotel, Adare starting from 7pm

There is a Public Bus Service in operation from outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry St. to Thomond Park starting from 6pm.

Supporters can pre-book their parking online for the Q-Park at Harvey’s Quay online at www.q-park.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.

Stadium Information

Match programmes will be on sale inside and outside the stadium for €;4.

Pre-match entertainment features Jean Wallace and the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir. The half time mini rugby display will feature Listowel RFC v St. Mary’s RFC.

There are numerous bar and catering facilities within Thomond Park, all open at 6pm.

The Museum is open on match day and will close at 7.30pm, admission only €;3.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
