Varley Cleared To Play

Damien Varley will be available for selection for Munster’s RaboDirect PRO12 game against Leinster on Saturday after appearing before a Celtic League Disciplinary hearing today in Edinburgh.

Varley was issued with a red card on Saturday by referee Dudley Phillips on the advice of touch judge Greg Morgan but the Disciplinary Committee saw nothing in the incident to warrant further sanction.

In light of events in Edinburgh, that only concluded late this afternoon, and with several of his players just back in full training this week, coach Rob Penney will wait until tomorrow lunchtime before announcing his squad.
