The Mall Bar in Tralee last night played host to Munster Rugby ahead of next Saturday’s British & Irish Cup clash with Aberavaon at O’Dowd Park.
Munster A coach Ian Costello along with Barry O'Mahony and JJ Hanrahan – two players who played a significant role in last Saturday's opening round win over Plymouth Albion – were on hand to promote the game and answer questions from the small but enthusiastic audience.
The event was organised, through Munster Rugby Community Officer Ray Gadsden in conjunction with the host club whose President Mags Hayes – though domiciled in the Kingdom was quick to proudly claim her Tipperary heritage – introduced the Munster contingent who then took questions from the floor.
Also in attendance were Tralee RFC Director of Rugby Jay Galvin along with Committee Members Mike Keane (Fixtures), Collette Pricel (Secretary), Richard White (Youths), photographer Denis Kelleher (Chairman) and Munster Sales & Marketing Manager Tralee native Enda Lynch.
Munster play Welsh side Aberavon in O'Dowd Park next Saturday (1pm) with Munster senior coach Rob Penney expected to be amongst the attendance along with members of his coaching team.
