Friday Night Frights Match Day Info

Please find all relevant match day information for supporters here. Please note tickets are available to buy for this game and there will be a free Halloween fancy dress party for kids from 6pm in The Dugout so join us for a Spooktacular night of rugby.

Tickets

Tickets are available to buy online here, from the Munster Rugby ticket offices in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park, the Munster Rugby Stores in Cork and Limerick, and by calling 021-4315767 or 061-421103.

The mobile ticket unit at Hassett’s Cross will be open on Friday match-day from 10am to kick off.

There will be an East Stand ticket collection point next to the mobile ticket unit for all General ticket collections.

The West Stand ticket booth will also be open on match day from 5.45pm.

4 Kids go free with the Special Halloween Family Terrace pack – 2 Adults and 4 *Juniors for €;40.

NB Please note the South Terrace will not be open on the night – anyone who has season tickets for this terrace, or who have purchased tickets will be given the option of either the East or West Terrace. Please enter the stadium through the turnstile as directed on your ticket, and you will be redirected once inside.

Travel

Road-work Update for the N22 Cork-Limerick road: Stop-go system in place until 4.30pm on Friday in the Rathduff Area. However, the climbing lane approaching Rathduff from the Cork City side will be open all the time but the second lane after Rathduff will be closed, and a speed limit of 60kmph will remain in place so motorists may experience delays.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:

Kilmurry Lodge Hotel starting from 5.30pm
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road starting from 5.30pm
South Court Hotel Raheen starting from 6.15pm
Woodlands Hotel Adare starting at 6.45pm

There is a Public Bus Service in operation from outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry St. to Thomond Park starting from 5.45pm.

Supporters can pre-book their parking online for the Q-Park at Harvey’s Quay online at www.q-park.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.

Stadium Information

Enjoy a spooktacular night of rugby at Thomond Park and come along to our free Halloween Fancy Dress party "Comebefore the game at the Dugout in the East Stand from 6pm.

Kick off the school mid-term break with a night of ghastly games, frightful fancy dress spot prizes, tasty treats, freaky face painting, a phantom player appearance, ghoulish goodies and moooooorrrrre. The Dugout will be decked out in Halloween style with scary special guests to keep you entertained before kick-off.

The party is free and open to all children under the age of 16 years. We will have the Supporters Club on hand also with plenty of prizes up for grabs including free membership to the Junior Club and Family Packs to the Heineken Cup Saracens game to name a few.

Everyone heading along in fancy dress will be entered in to a draw with 10 pairs of tickets for Munster v Glasgow to give away on the night.

Pre-match entertainment features Ryan Morgan and the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir.

The half time mini rugby display will feature Rugbai Corca Dhuibhne v St. Senan’s RFC.

There are numerous bar and catering facilities within Thomond Park, all open at 5.45pm. The Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir will perform on Level B in the West Stand concourse before the game.

The Museum is open on match day and will close at 7.15pm, admission only €;3.

The Munster Rugby Store in the East Stand Store will be open from 5pm and the mobile shop outside the West Stand will open from 5.45pm.

Match programmes will be on sale inside and outside the stadium for €;4.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Weather

Friday night will be dry and cold with temperatures of 3 degrees so wrap up in red!
