Jersey Change For Vicarage Road Clash

A clash of colours means Munster’s kit manufacturers adidas have had to produce a new jersey for the squad for the Heineken Cup Round 4 clash with Saracens at Vicarage Road (Dec 16th).

Because the broadcasters found that there was not sufficient difference between Munster's home (red) and alternate (dark navy) strip and that of Saracens home jersey, Munster, as per competition rules must change and will now play in a predominately white jersey not too dissimilar to their 2008/2009 alternate jersey.

The jersey will be worn with this year's alternate dark navy shorts and red socks.

This is an exclusive jersey made for the squad for this fixture and will not be available in retail outlets.
