Conor Murray and Stephen Archer are expected to be in consideration for Munster’s Heineken Cup round 5 meeting with Edinburgh next Sunday.
Murray was forced off after just 14 minutes with a cut lip while Archer limped out of the action with 20 minutes remaining after sustaining a dead-leg.
Of more immediate concern is Mick Sherry who hurt an ankle and was replaced in the 23rd minute. Sherry will have a scan later today to determine the seriousness of the damage.
Damien Varley and Luke O'Dea, who both missed the Cardiff game through illness, have recovered and will be training with the squad on Wednesday while Johne Murphy, forced out of the starting XV for Saturday's game after tweaking a hamstring in training is a doubt for the weekend games.
