Four More Munster Players Added
21st January 2013 By Munster Rugby
Planned post match celebrations for 4 Munster players had to be curtailed when they were summoned to Co Kildare to join up with Declan Kidney’s international squad.
James Coughlan, Damien Varley, Mike Sherry and Tommy O'Donnell all set off for Maynooth last night shortly after the game against Racing Metro that saw them qualify for the knock out stages of this year's Heineken Cup.
It's the 14th time in 15 seasons that Munster have qualified for the knock outs, a record that is unequalled and their 'reward' is a trip to the 14,800 capacity Stoop where Harlequins will insist on playing the game rather than across the road at Twickenham.
Munster's entitlement for that game is 25% though there is little doubt that The Stoop will not cater for the sort of crowd this fixture will attract.
