Rabo Resumes Next Saturday In Musgrave Park
5th February 2013 By Munster Rugby
Munster resume their RaboDirect PRO12 in Musgrave Park next Saturday when they entertain Edinburgh Rugby (7.45).
They take on a Scottish side who lie in 9th place in the table and with little chance of making the knock out stages while Munster are in 6th but two points adrift of fourth placed Ospreys and four points off second placed Glasgow Warriors.
Munster however have yet to win in the Rabo this season in Cork and with two games on the road to follow – away to Scarlets and Treviso – anything less than four points on Saturday could seriously damage their play off hopes.
There is some concern in the camp over the number nine position. Cathal Sheridan picked up a shoulder injury playing for UL Bohemians at the weekend and with Conor Murray tied up with Ireland and Peter Stringer away with Bath, it's fingers crossed that Sheridan will be fit for selection.
Luke O'Dea is another there's a doubt about having tweaked a hamstring at the weekend while Sean Henry picked up a hand injury but no decision will be made on the trio until later in the week.
