The squad were in Limerick yesterday for the first full session of the week before Sunday’s round 16 RaboDirect PRO12 game against Treviso.
The players will re-group tomorrow for their final session in Port Laoise en route to Dublin where they will overnight for their Saturday departure to Venice.
Yesterday's squad session saw further inclusion from Paul O'Connell as he continues with his rehabilitation which is a work in progress according to Rob Penney. "He seems to be progressing nicely. There’s always a bit of a buzz for the other guys when Paul is involved and it’s nice to have him well, but we’re just drip fed the information from the medics because they don’t want us to get too excited.”
Niall Ronan also took a further part in training following his limited inclusion last week, and is in contention to line out for his club side Shannon this weekend in the AIL.
Munster take on Treviso at 2pm Irish time on Sunday, the same time as the Scotland/Ireland clash and TG4 are showing delayed coverage at 5.15pm. Munster will tweet match updates from Stadio di Monigo and you can follow us here.
