Munster Development Head For Glasgow
16th May 2013 By Munster Rugby
A Munster Development side under the tutelage of Elite Player Development Officer Colm McMahon are taking part in the Glasgow City 7s this Saturday.
Sixteen teams are taking part in the event with Munster up against the home venue side Cartha Queens Park RFC in the opening round.
McMahon, a former Ireland 7s player himself, also brought a side to the tournament last year and found the exercise extremely beneficial. The youthful development side most recently played at the Kinsale 7s tournament where they recorded one victory out of three, in a tough pool that included two senior and experienced touring 7s sides.
