Supporting Clare Crusaders
31st May 2013 By Munster Rugby
Last Sunday members of the Munster Rugby squad visited Ennis where the Lynch Family hosted one of a number of countywide BBQs in aid of the Clare Crusaders Clinic, one of Munster’s nominated charities for season 2012/13.
Friends and neighbours of Corrovorrin Green in Ennis came together to enjoy a fun packed afternoon with Munster's Marcus Horan, Barry O’Mahony, CJ Stander and Mike Sherry. The players were on hand to show their support for the worthy cause and stayed to sign autographs, pose for photos and take part in various games.
The day was a tremendous success for the Clinic with numerous BBQs hosted across the county in support of "Clare’s Chargrilled Crusade". Check out some of the BBQ photos added to our Community gallery here.
Munster Rugby has worked with Clare Crusaders throughout the year as one of their nominated charities along with Adapt Domestic Abuse services and Jigsaw. The support has generated increased awareness for each of the charities and also helped in raising much needed funding.
More information about each of the charities can be found here.
