Ireland Squad Named For USA

Ireland kick-off their North American tour against USA on Saturday in Houston, Texas led by Captain Peter O’Mahony.

O'Mahony leads the way at the back of the scrum and in the pack he his joined by his Munster colleague Dave Kilcoyne, who makes his first Ireland start, while Simon Zebo starts on the wing.

The replacements include Mike Sherry and Tommy O'Donnell, who are in line to claim their first Ireland caps, and Felix Jones.

Team USA includes Youghal man and former Munster A and sub academy player John Quill who is named in the replacements.

Ireland take on USA at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston on Saturday June 8th, ko 7.30pm (1.30am Irish time). The game will be televised on TG4 and Universal.
