Wins For Ireland And Emerging Ireland

Ireland defeated Canada 40-14 at the BMO Stadium in Toronto while Emerging Ireland recorded a 42-33 victory against Uruguay in the Tbilisi Cup.

The Peter O'Mahony led Ireland side ran in 6 tries on Saturday night with Fergus McFadden claiming a hat-trick. Tommy O'Donnell also crossed the line on his first start for Ireland, and James Downey played the full 80 in making his first Ireland appearance.

Ian Keatley provided 22 of Emerging Ireland's 42 points, scoring two tries and kicking 6 conversions. The bonus point win moved the Emergers into second place with the South African President's XV claiming the IRB Tbilisi Cup.
