Munster recorded a 28-17 victory against Gloucester on Saturday evening in Thomond Park with eight players making their first appearance for Munster including Andrew Conway who scored the opening try.
Conway retired after 25 minutes with a dead leg but the flying winger certainly showed his intent for the season in the opening exchanges.
Other players that featured for the first time for Munster included promoted academy player Niall Scannell, academy player Shane Buckley and club players Mike Kelleher, Niall Kenneally, Danny Kenny, Paddy Ryan and Willie Ryan.
