Squad Update
16th September 2013 By Munster Rugby
The squad moved from their Parma base to their Lake Garda training centre on Saturday morning and underwent a recovery session on Sunday with match reviews completed.
Full training sessions have been scheduled for today and Tuesday with the squad transferring to their Treviso hotel on Wednesday in preparation for Friday night’s game.
Following on from Munster’s 43-21 victory against Zebre Ian Nagle and Tommy O’Donnell have both returned home and will undergo scans today. Andrew Conway (groin) has remained on with the squad to see how he develops over the week. James Downey who played forty minutes on Friday night showed no ill effect following on from his recent quad tear.
At home, Felix Jones (shoulder) will meet with the specialist today to determine the status of his rehabilitation progress.
With Earls, O’Mahony and Zebo having no part to play last weekend it is expected that they will be included in this weekend’s squad with the team to be finalised on Thursday morning.
