Jones To Return From Injury
18th September 2013 By Munster Rugby
There was good news for Felix Jones this week following his shoulder surgery at the start of July.
After meeting with the specialist on Monday Jones was declared fit to return to some controlled contact this week, with a plan of returning to full training next week if all goes well.
Ian Nagle who suffered strained tendons under his foot during last week’s Zebre v Munster game is currently undergoing rehabilitation and could return in two weeks.
The prognosis is not so positive for Tommy O’Donnell (knee) who is seeing a specialist later this week, but initial reports suggest he could be out for 10-12 weeks.
There is good news for Andrew Conway who is back in light training this week following a groin strain in the game against Zebre.
The squad will be announced tomorrow for the RaboDirect PRO12 clash against Benetton Treviso at Stadio di Monigo on Friday, 20th September at 7.30pm.
